Not with the right design. Our shoe cabinets feature louvered doors or built-in ventilation slots that allow continuous air circulation even when closed — this prevents the trapped moisture that causes mould and odour. For wet shoes (after rain or sport), we recommend leaving them outside to dry first before storing. Also ensure the cabinet is not placed against an exterior wall with poor airflow.
